REFLECTION


Experience

Writing a paper is a challenge for me. Before this, I rarely thought about how to write a paper and what format it should be. But after this semester of studying, I have truly gained a lot of knowledge about papers, and also realized many issues. For example, I should strengthen my communication skills so that I can understand the feedback from my supervisor in a timely manner and interact better in class. Among them, the design of typesetting tasks also helped me consolidate the knowledge I had previously learned about typesetting. Continuously making changes to the content has also improved my patience, allowing me to work better. Thank you very much for your patience and timely suggestions on my shortcomings.



Observation 

After exposure, I realized that this course actually tests students' comprehensive abilities, not just learning how to write papers. From task 2, it can be seen that it tests students' design ability to a certain extent, and it is also an examination of students' book layout skills, using the knowledge they have learned to demonstrate complete layout. Throughout the process, students not only gained an understanding of the writing process and format of English papers, but also improved their design and language organization skills.


Findings

The format of a paper is very important, and we should not only focus on writing the content, but also pay attention to formatting issues. At the same time, written language is also very important, and papers should have academic quality.

The layout of books is a great test of design ability, as it requires reasonable arrangement of colors, images, text, etc., and attention to layout, in order to make people feel comfortable while reading. And observing more can improve our aesthetics to some extent, so we can also pay more attention to the arrangement of words around us in daily life and think about why they look good.

In this task, I will choose one of the three sketches with different compositions as my final sketch. Because the original picture doesn't have a clear focus, all the three compositions I drew give the picture a relatively obvious focus, so it seems that there may be some big changes.
